We believe there is no such thing as an "inward-looking church". Our faith has meaning only to the extent that faith itself, and its fruits, are offered to the larger community, especially those in need. The members and friends of Clague Road United Church of Christ actively support mission projects ranging from Community Corner(a food bank) to the Interfaith Hospitality Network (holistic assistance to families in need). Through the church's "We Care Ministry," sick and homebound individuals are visited and blessed on a regular basis.
Mission Trip Summer 2011 This summer's Mission Trip will be to Emmaus Homes in Marthasville, MO, from Sunday June 19 - Sat . June 25 . North Olmsted Food Bank We're looking for help with stocking and sorting at the North Olmsted Food Bank which needs to be done on Monday or Tuesday of each week. It can be done during the day or in the evening. If you're interested in helping out, there's a sign up sheet in Fellowship Hall.
Food Pantry Help
The North Olmsted Food Pantry is asking for volunteers to help package and distribute their Christmas Drive. Please signup on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall if interested.
The Board of Outreach Please donate and help us gather NEW SOCKS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES and UNDERWEAR for the children in our area as they start back to school. Thanks for your support.
